Gold Fields is one of the world’s largest unhedged producers of gold with eight operating mines in South Africa, Ghana, Peru and Australia and feasibility and resource development projects in the Philippines, Finland, Ghana and Peru. Our ambition is to be the global leader in sustainable gold mining. The company has a complement of over 50,000 staff and contractors worldwide.
Gold Fields produces 3.5 million ounces of gold a year and has total attributable gold equivalent Mineral Reserves of 76.7 million ounces and Mineral Resources of 225.4 million ounces. The company is listed on the JSE Limited (primary listing), the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), NASDAQ Dubai Limited, Euronext in Brussels (NYX) and the Swiss Exchange (SWX).
In Australia, we operate two mines – the St Ives and Agnew Gold Mines - in Western Australia (WA). These mines employ over 1,600 staff on both a residential and a fly-in fly-out basis.
