We operate three gold mines in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia- St Ives, Agnew and Granny Smith. The Gruyere deposit is due to move into operations in 2019.The St Ives operation is located around 80 kilometres south of Kalgoorlie and 630 kilometres east of Perth.
Our Agnew mine sits within the same prospective geological region as St Ives and is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie and nearly 1,000 kilometres north-east of Perth. The Lawlers mine is situated on the border of the Agnew site and given their close proximity, the two operations were integrated into a single asset immediately following the acquisition of the Yilgarn South assets in October 2013.
The Granny Smith mine is located approximately 400 kilometres northeast of Kalgoorlie and 27 kilometres southwest of the town of Laverton.
The Gruyere deposit, located on the South Dorothy Hills trend is a joint venture between Gold Fields and Gold Road and is due for first production in early 2019.
These operations are supported from our head office in the Perth CBD, employing around 140 professionals across a range of corporate disciplines.
Underscored by a common goal of creating shared benefits to those associated with our efforts, it means our people, the ecosystems in which we operate, and the rapport we have with our local and indigenous communities, is of the highest respect.
